Why have Miller High Life and Tecate replaced PBR as the go to hipster beer?

I go to the bars in the hipster capital of the world (Bushwick, Brooklyn) and most of them don't seem to even have PBR, instead they sell tons of Miller High Life and Tecate.

And between PBR and High Life, they're both alright but I think High Life is crisper tasting (which is a bonus for adjunct lagers). PBR is like a less carbonated Budweiser, and High Life is better to me
