Burger King, McCocks, and Wendy's now have offers and deals where you can get a full size sandwich for $1. (With Wendy's you can buy any $0.99 item and get the sandwich for "free.")
Who here's taking advantage of it?

The wendys free 1/4th single doesnt work. most stores dont even honor the mobile app. But even the ones that do... it usually gives you an error message when you try to activate the free 1/4th single coupon.

Ive never had a problem with the mcdonalds app.

Why is this attractive to people? Isn't it pretty close to that price regardless? Is it really that exciting to save a dollar?
That said I use decentralized food applications on my phone a lot, like Uber Eats or Doordash. Doordash has restored proper meals to my work day, was living off of vending machine items after the company I work at got rid of their food court vendors years back.

The Wendy's deal makes a $4 sandwich a $1 sandwich. It's roughly the same with McC's and BK.

All four of my local Wendy's franchises honored the app. I've had to rotate my visits because the staff have started to recognize me. That's just unacceptable and awkward.

I would gladly pay $3 to not have to bother with a coupon. It feels like one step above being on food stamps, I always hated coupon customers back when I was a kid working at a supermarket.

You are just lucky then. Go to the google play store and read the app reviews if you dont believe me. The whole thing is a catastrophe for wendys.

I've started to get the feeling it's costing franchises money. A couple of times the manager-owner of the place was working the counter and he took his time trying to explain to me that I needed to order more for the app to work. I didn't fall for it.

right. ive seen people complain about that. made up bullshit the local stores do to discourage the app discounts.

It costs the stores money, not the franchises. This was why Subway was in the news recently when they tried to bring back a $5 foot long promotion. The franchise making a decision to have all locations offer a deal like that is something the stores themselves will sometimes get upset about because it might interfere with their chances of being profitable for that time frame depending on the region they're in.

My Chik-fil-et app is offering me a free 8 piece nugget by the end of the month. Delicious.

In fact I'm considering what to order along with the nuggets so as not to seem like it's a handout although it clearly is.

With the McD's app you don't even have to show anyone a coupon. You just order with a credit card, walk in, gps knows you're there, you activate the order, then they cook your order and you pick it up. You don't need to be an annoying coupon or "I'm paying with my phone" fag and hold up the line.

When will there be on demand unmanned McPredator QuarterPounder Strikes?

That's better then, but I'd still never use one of those deals. My general money philosophy is if you're caring about a couple dollars then you've already made a terrible mistake with a much larger amount of money.

I if you save $3 twice a week for a month, thats $24, which is $288 in a year, which is a share in a blue chip stock or a bunch of shares in AYYYMD a couple months ago which would've McDoubled your money.

Plus you don't need to wait in line or have the McNigger spit on you when he's trying to talk to you about your order.

You're underestimating the value of making enough money to not need to worry about a couple dollars difference on a food purchase. When you establish a high enough expense ceiling to where you can stop thinking about it you feel relaxed as fuck. If you're a millionaire and still chasing after pennies then you aren't really even enjoying the money you have.

I don't both with buying a drink. I'm not into the loss leader thing. The cup, the sugar water, and the electricity to make the ice come to a grand total of 5 cents. They sell it for a dollar. That's a 2k% markup. I'd just bring a bottle of water from home that I"ve been refilling forever.
