caffeine is a bland drug, and withdrawal can be suppressed with the smallest force of will, but it's millennials we are talking about

Honest question, does coffee really give you a feeling of euphoria and true alterness? I literally hardly ever feel a thing after a full cup or if I drink a lot I get anxious and jittery, not a good wakefulness whatsoever.

Everyday morning coffee drinkers: whats up?

Caffeine junkies and sugar addicts that drink Starschmuck's. They can't seem to function without their burst of energy from their addiction

I feel sorry for those who are dependent on a stimulant chemical just to wake up, by god what a woeful that that is

Alertness and Wakefullness comes from Mindfullnes. Practice that and you will see results

Only if you have add/adhd. If you do have it, caffeine is calming as fuck. It's discount amphetamine, when it comes to the effects. Normal people get all jittery, especially when they're at the point of caffeine intoxication. Takes me a double cup of Death Wish coffee to even get close to that point.
Best sleep I've ever had, I was full of caffeine.
>I will never enjoy coffee like a normal person. Fuck.

Personally I just like the taste. I don't really know if it has much of a calming effect or anything like that, but I have noticed that if I drink a cup of coffee before work, I'm a bit more alert for the first few hours of my day. Then usually after lunch (whether it's light, or a big lunch) I'm in a coma if I'm not doing anything. I kind of work a boring job right now as it is though, so that mind numbing effect might also be doing something to me.

For me it's about the morning routine, I recently switched coffee for tea and still want to enjoy my breakfast in peace while going through news and my plans for the upcoming day

I have really bad anxiety, and coffee helps calm me down in small amounts. If I can combine a cup of coffee with a benzo, I achieve an aware but perfectly calm zen-like state for a little while. I also try to make it as good as possible, so I appreciate the methodical ritual I can perform any time I want some.

Caffeine withdrawal is relatively weak but it's still withdrawal and can lead to things like headaches and generally irritability. But it's not like someone won't be able to function at all.
