Look at this fantastic spread I got for me and my bros. $20. So glad I decided to eat out at McDonalds tonight instead of staying home in a stuffy kitchen.

When I had to clean these trays at Arby's, it was simply wiping them with soapwater and then again with sanitizer.. and laying a big sheet of paper with stupid bullshit on it over it sometimes while it was still wet. I'd say it was pretty hygenic to eat off of afterwards if sanitizer really does work as good as people say it does.. else why the fuck don't they use alcohol instead?

But I was the only good worker there. I saw a woman dip her hand in the sanitizer bucket I was using to wipe the trays with. She was a manager. I looked at her like wtf.

It's getting pretty disgusting now, especially since McDonald's is well embedded in my upbringing since I ate it a lot growing up. It fucks with people psychologically.

Look, I'm not gonna spend a fuckton of money on reheated food just because it's "meh". The advertising is in your face because it knows it has to hold on to whatever it has left. It knows that anyone could use Google or Yelp and type in "burgers" or "gyros" or "tacos" and find a place nearby with a better deal on food and with food that was made fresh. Those new tenders? Holy fuck are they just literally the old tenders with some kind of new nugget sauce drizzled on top? It was so weird eating it. I swear Tyson makes this shit and you can buy bags of it in the freezer. Of course they don't, but that was on par with what I ate. Not bad, not worth passing over a place with a better deal on food, just meh. Call me a hipster but if you want junk food just do it right and get a better deal.. explore your neighborhood.

I hope McDolans doesn't go TOO upscale. I eat there for lunch often my go to order is 2 McDoubles and 1 McChicken hold the mayo add Mac sauce. Less than 5 bucks for a pretty good amount of food. Although the place near my work is remodelling and I have found Burger Kings double cheeseburgers as worthy contenders. I don't like most of BKs chicken sandwhiches though. I haven't tried ALL of them.

Yes they can, and if not then my question to you is.. price on what? Because I'm pricing how much food you get and damn I can get a lot more food for the buck. If I legitimately want to get a $1 cheeseburger at 3AM then I'm their guy, but what about the other burgers out there? I don't understand how people categorize burgers in their mind so I'm legitimately wondering. I consider McDonald's to be on par with really good microwavable food, it's like I can always say "real food" in relation to Mcdonalds and people will know what i mean

I consider it a dollar for a warm burger that I didn't have to grill myself. Of course the home made burger is going to be better but you're not going to get all of the ingredients for a dollar, even if the price per-homemade-burger is less than that of the dollar menu, which I doubt, I'd still have to prepare it and wait.
You explained it yourself; If I legitimately want to get a $1 cheeseburger at 3AM then I'm their guy, and most people are 'their guy'

People that consume fast food regularly are unironically subhuman on the same level as livestock. Fed cheap slop so they can breed and create more consumers to pass on their poor impulse control and eating habits on to. I've never seen shilling of this magnitude before. The human race is becoming automatons.

They might as well. Everyone else has a tip jar on the counter for carry-out. Hell, the other day I went to a sub shop, and at the checkout there was a prompt on the credit card machine to add a tip with 5 selections 10%, 15%, 18%, 20%, and "No, thanks" .... the latter was a tiny button at the button while the first four were huge. This was for fucking carry-out. You couldn't just pay without that screen coming up. Never going back there again.

That was the Jersey Mike's in Spring Hill, TN by the USP store. Have some bad publicity.

You got yourself 1/20th the volume of a bag of costco chicken breasts in chicken, four burgers whose meat amounts to less than a 3$ pack of ground beef, and 3 potatos alongside a mountain of salt and sugar. Seems like a shit deal OP, you could of ate weeks of much better flavor and quality for 15-45 minutes of time turning raw ingredients into something.
