We got this Amish bakery where I live, they have the best donuts in town. You'll feel awful after eating one though since they're so much sugar. The cinnamon caramel ones are their signature donut.

I live on a small island and there's not much selection in donuts apart from like basic grocery store kind which are crappy. Because of this I'don't never understood why people rave about donuts so much. A few months ago my mum brought back simple glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme and now I finally understand the appeal. I'd never tasted a donut so nice in my life.

There aren't that many of these shops in my area, and they never make apple fritters, cinnamon buns, cinnamon twists, NY cheesecake, dulce de leche and likewise. Better off going to the mom and pop asian breakfast bakeries.

Had a Krispy Kreme open in my town, it didn't even last a year. The building is a Buffalo Wild Wings now. Krispy Kreme can't be that good.

I used to love donuts more than anything. Was easily my favorite food. Then something in my brain or stomach tripped because I can no longer have more than one or two without feeling like I need to vomit.
I remember my friend used to have sleepovers and his parents would get a few dozen donuts for us to eat in the morning and I could easily polish off a dozen+. If I tried that now I'd probably end up in the hospital.
Also why is Krispy Kreme so much better than my shit local donut chains? All I have around me are shitty chinese run places where all the donuts taste cheap and bland, or dumb donut "boutiques" that push stupid bacon topped bullshit and other meme, that are so sugary they gives you headaches.
