Back when I was fat and ate shit like that (and the DQ chicken strip meal is probably the biggest calorie bomb you can order in the fast food kingdom) I could never understand the purpose of the toast. It's not good toast and it doesn't go with the meal. Even my fat former self could only take a pity bite or two. It's a really mysterious side.

I've honestly never understood the thing about fried chicken/southern food being served with straight up slices of wonder bread. I'm guessing it's a holdover from poverty days when there wasn't enough food to go around, but why people still do it I'll never understand - especially bbq places that some people like to claim make the best food in the country.
