Goddamnit. Wally world stopped carrying whole milk low moisture mozzarella. It's the only reason I shopped there and no other store has it.
How am I going to make my thursday night home oven pizzas bros? I'll be damned if I have to use that shitty part-skim shit. Am I going to have to go Hot n' Ready?

I buy whole milk mozz all the time at ordinary groceries. Are you sure there isn't some second italian section, or second cheese section? There's some fresh pasta area sometimes which all the better mozzarella sometimes. Or by the deli and not on the cheese aisle. If you're worried about moisture in a fresh mozz, just press some paper towels into it before grating/slicing and call it a day.

Are you sure you looked everywhere? Sometimes the cheese I get moves to the deli or near it. And last possibility is that they sold out and re-ordered it. Happens all the time with the mozz I get from there

The best cheese to use for pizza is a combination of fresh mozz and provolone.

Fresh mozz is super flavorful but it's not very good for pizza on its own, but provolone brings that stringiness that you want with pizza cheese.

Look for oaxaca cheese. Its got a richer flavor, but is otherwise exactly the same.
