The burgers are above average for the price. I can’t endorse the fries but their spread is good. People hate it because it’s from California.

People are deceived into believing it's godlike and then get understandably disappointed. It's an average burger with decent fries. I recently came back from a trip to CA and if I'm being honest, the value of In N Out comes more in the price than the flavor.

I think Animal Style Burger really is great though. Their Grilled Onions/Cheese/Sauce combo is so good.

Unironically the only people that hate the fries are tastelets. They have a very hearty potato flavor and soak up the burger dripping really well. At the worst you can ask them to smother it in cheese, sauce and onions since you can't appreciate a fresh potato fry.

I don’t understand people who say it’s just an average burger. I think people know it isn’t actually high-end restaurant/home quality. It’s just really amazing considering how bad other fast food burgers are.
