What country from each continent has the best food?
For me its:
Africa: Morocco
Asia: Tough one but perhaps Indian, open to change though
Europe: Italy
South America: Brazil
North America: USA (Specifically south states) this one is also open to change

Africa: all of North Africa is the same, and basically goes from best to worst going west to east, but Ethiopian is still better than Moroccan
S. America: Peru
N. America: 'murrica, obviously

Asia and Europe are tough, and really a matter of personal preference.

Asia: Gotta go with Japan, though China has a good combination of good and bad, like 'murrica, and is all of SE Asia counted as one country they'd be in the running.
Europe: between Italy, France, and Spain, I've spent the most time in France, which has a generally shitty food culture (many people don't know this), but when they do things right they really do things right.

Not him, but I'm a french guy : we make a big deal out of food, so there are different types of restorants. And the most common are for the most common class, and they are good but not extraordinary. I'm from the middle class but I got family in the upper class, and boy I can tell you there is a difference. Might be what he's talking about.
Si btw, if you want to come here, go at least once to a very good restaurant, you can usually recognize them bc the food is awfully expensive, there is practically nothing on the menu, you call to get a table the next month, the decoration is very pretty and you could eat the food at every of your fucking meals without ever being bored of it

Africa: madagascar, hands down. Best food on earth. Plan a vacation there for the food alone and it is worth it.

Asia: Hong kong.

Europe: I considered not even including this food wasteland of a continent in my answer but ultimately decided on Russia.

South America: Peru. Growing up I went there every summer to visit family and I have so many comfy food memories.

North America: Quebec.

Africa: North African cuisine is pretty good, and it's had a lot of different influence.
Asia: Thai. A lot of veggies with your protein and the garlic/chili/ginger trifecta is bombproof.
Europe: France, by far.
South America: Brazil (fine)
North America: USA (Specifically south states) (fine)

Most of the continents have to many dissimilar culinary subregions to have a debate about which is better. It's like comparing apples to fucking steaks, that's how dissimilar they can be.

Mediterranean Europe: Italy.
Germanic Europe: Deutschland, Deutschland über alles
Slavic/Baltic Europe: Poland
League of its own: Hungary

America has too many subregions with too little variation in each subregion.

Caribbean: Guyana

I don't know enough about south America to have an opinion.

South Asia: Sri Lanka. I'm including the various regional styles available in India alone and I'm still going with Sri Lanka.

Mainalnd Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Burma, Thai etc are too dissimilar from one another. I can't pick.

SEAsian archipelago: Javanese.

East Asia, including Coastal China: Coastal China, lol.

I don't know enough about mainland China to have a favourite.

North Africa: I haven't liked much, unless Egypt counts. It's all too sweet and weird. Cinnamon and fucking garlic on chicken with buttermilk? Nah, bruh.

East Africa: Ethiopian. Honourable mention to what little I've had of Malagasy cooking.

Subsaharan Africa: Nigerian.

Oceania: do they even have a cuisine?

Middle East: Levantine/Lebanese.

Central Asian: Tajiki.

I think Texas style barbecue is the best thing North America has created, food-wise. Cajun and Creole are good, too, but I prefer barbecue. Mexican doesn't often appeal to me, and getting it in Mexico didn't really improve it.
