More inherently flavorful than chicken.
Just as versatile.
Good meat for all sorts of stuff.
I like it.

Fight me.

I agree with this. Ham roasted with cloves/star anise other aromatics in a pan underneath, glazed with a mustard/brown sugar/rice vinegar blend, broiled at the end to caramelize is far superior to chicken.

>tastes better than chicken
>soups, sandwiches, breakfast, snacks
>tastes great hot or cold

Chicken is fine but ham is far superior.

Yeah I sometimes have one slice of ham in a premade walgreens sandwich that has three other meats and two other cheeses in it. I hardly even notice it is there.

You're contradicting your own statement. Being inherently more flavorful makes it inherently less versatile than chicken. Chicken is so versatile because it can take on the flavor of whatever you're cooking it with. Ham will still taste like ham regardless of what you cook it with. I like ham but saying it has as many uses as something like chicken is ludicrous.

That's disgusting. Eating a sandwich with ONLY ham? That's disgusting. I would have to be so hungry I could eat at Arby's to eat that.

I nearly always have a cooked ham on hand. Usually Cure 31 or something like that. I use it in a variety of different ways.

It's very rare for me to eat it straight from the package, though. In most cases, I fry it in a pan whether it is on a sandwich, with an egg on an English muffin, or anything else. The one exception is if I toss in into a pot of beans or field peas.

honey or sweet ham from the deli with some swiss and mayo is a pretty good sandwich.
