You know you can pay those machines with bank cards right? You know you can place your order there and bring your receipt and cash up to pay at the counter. You know it's infinitely easier to go to the drive thru than go in. You know even more so than the drive thru is ordering through the app which gives far better deals.

You know the US has the slowest internet speeds of any 'first world' nation, right? In the whole of the EU, it takes literally a second for CC transactions because the internet speeds aren't capped by a literal cartel of internet service providers who lobby da gubmint to keep speeds low.
Even though I know that Comcast, Verizon et al work together to do this, I still have no idea /why/. Why would they want to keep Americans from faster internet speeds? I really don't understand.

I don't go out to fast food much, but was in a Wendy's last summer and saw a groid chimp out about a white cripple getting his food before the groid by using the kiosk rather than ordering at the counter.
Invariably, the female human shit stain claimed she didn't get served ahead of the cripple, even though she was there first, because of racism. Never mind that all the Wendy's workers are as black or blacker than she is, it was racism which prevented her from getting her food in five minutes rather than six.

If I understand it correctly, just as the drive thru is a different, faster moving queue, the kiosk is yet another queue.

Once an order is put into the system by either the window monkey, the counter monkey or the customer at the kiosk, it's put on the "make this shit now" screens in the back for the food monkeys to assemble. If you're third in the queue to get to the counter monkey to make your order and someone orders at the kiosk, they will get their food first, just like someone ordering at the window will.

If ammunition were being soft-banned by electronic funds transfer companies and paper money was eliminated, then everyone would already be in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and whatever pieces of paper you kept to yourself would be worthless. Paying in cash doesn't give you any special protections other than anonymity, and anonymity would be irrelevant unless you're trying to use a debit card to pay for illegal drugs and hitmen. So yeah, feel free to pay for food with cash if you're concerned the government will find out you purchased a big mac.

No, all they did was use some of their wealth to make more wealth.
That shouldn't be a signifier of who gets to make the most money, right? because it's all about working hard, right? if spending money meant that you were skilled, then shouldn't more money go to people who spend the larger percentage of their money, aka poor people

Not the anon you're replying to, but, do you not understand Credit Cards, and what they do for you?
For one, they offer an alternative to pay up front. Say you're short on cash, this helps.
Two, you can pay them off when you get some cash, and in doing so, build your credit.
Credit is a major factor in large purchase decisions, such as cars from a reputable dealer, a home, loans, etc.
You know how everyone can tell that you're poor, and only think you have a lot of money?
Because you have no credit card, and therefore, no credit.
Come back when you've matured a little.

Hard to get a position as an actual Computational Chemist without a PhD, and there's literally 2 proffesors in my country that actually do that shit and one of them is an emeritus, and only one place with a supercomputer owned by the Chemistry Department. Too tainted by the "softness" of the Chemistry ,despite really being more like Physicists that consider more than one atom, to go the traditional route of a Physics student and work in a bank.

That's basically why I moved to Data Analytics which is actually intuitively very similar.

The only reason, me personally, would want a good credit score is so I can put a buffer between myself and disaster.
