Might've been a bad batch. It always varies for me, sometimes it tastes stale right out the box, other times it doesn't have enough salt per cracker.

Surprisingly, it's actually Great Value. I needed some in a pinch and it was only 69 cents. Perfect salt amount, not stale, good yeasty taste, nice and crisp. My only issue is that they go stale a couple days after opening, but that's just another reason that I know it's good ingredients.
