Last year, prob threw out >$120 of food b/c I let it go bad before cooking.
Moving now. Took about $60 worth of stuff out of my fridge and dumped it down the drain, then recycled the bottles.
I feel the waste, and the guilt from it.

I tend to buy only what I know I'm going to eat for dinner and for breakfast and lunch for the next day. that and I only cook enough for myself since I live alone. And only have company over once or twice a week.

Shop more than once a week and purchase less at each shop. Eat the older stuff before the newer stuff.

Kinda figured answers would fall along these lines.
Going to the store 2-3 times a week seems like a waste of time and gas, but I guess if the alternative is throwing out food, its probably a save in the long run.
