Once I was making chilli, I cut up 3 or 4 different types of peppers. I didn't have any problems at all with touching stuff.

Then a few hours later I rubbed my eyes, and strangely, it didn't hurt at all. It actually felt great for some reason. I'm not joking at all. It really did feel good. I rubbed them, and they had this tinglying senstation, and a very slight "burn" but not something uncomfortable.

It was the only time it ever happened to me, and any time after I've cut peppers and had the misfortune of touching my eyes or nose or something, it's always a bad time.
