The actual talent that made that business good will not stop being talented, and there will be something else they do next in their careers. Just keep an eye on the people who were involved. From what I can tell, the lifeblood of that butcher was their supply to sister restaurants that are no longer places of acclaim, so when relationships were severed, likely were the chain of income to those restaurants. Rent is high in NYC, you recover fast, or you close it down.

Are you an....idiot? You know nothing about this business being a partnership or corporation, nor their contracts and terms. It is a LLC per NY record. They are almost certainly not able to get the types of contracts or insurance they'd need in existing arrangements with a scandal that large for their particular rating. A do-over was needed as well as all disassociation with those names. Yes, they are absolved from nearly all personal liability as an LLC. But, that female owner was nearly as culpable as the named Friendman guy. I saw an article a year ago about their after hours parties.
