Remember when McDonald's used to have a mix of light meat AND dark meat nuggets?

Those were the days

I remember being like 5 years old and biting into a nugget only to find yellow meat. Who else?

>> No.11116219

Remember peeling off the skin and eating it before the bare meat because it made it seem like the food went further

>> No.11116227

Remember when you could put a layer of six nuggets on top of your shake, and they wouldn't even sink in because it was so thick? Then you would bite off both ends of your apple pie and suck the nuggets up through your apple pie straw. Good times.

Yes, natural mechanically seperated factory farm chicken pressed into nugget form and covered with batter and deepfried. Taste like it just came off the chicken!

>Think he's the coolest guy ever because he drives a badass car and listens to loud rock music
>As you grow older you become more and more disillusioned and the magic wears off as you realize he's terrible to you and everyone else in your family

I bit into a nugget in 1999 and found a vein or something. It was tubular, rubbery, and it was mixed in with the nugget meat. I stopped eating McDonalds for a full decade after that incident but eventually started going again after those ten years. Still to this day I rarely will buy McDonalds and normally only go if a friend insists that's where they want to eat.

For me it's the Bacon McDouble. The perfect combination of savory beef and smoky bacon.

>> No.11117668

This thread gave me the urge to hit up McDonalds for the first time in probably a year or so. My McDonalds has that double drive thru now which no one seemed to understand the concept of how to let others into the main line. I wanted to get nugs but I didn't even see them on the menu (no combo or anything) so I went with tendies instead.. They had hot mustard sauce so all wasn't lost.

I tried this and the nuggets went straight to the bottom. I couldn't suck anything through my apple pie, not even shake. I wish I lived in your time.
