kelley’s is overall pretty decent food for a pretty decent price, the kicker is that the portions are gigantic and the decor/service is kind of hokey but if you’re in the mood for it you can definitely appreciate it. the food is pretty standard american classics but they also throw in stuff like a 3 or 5 pound burger iirc. my late grandfather was a mechanic, owned his own shop, worked only on domestic cars, fought in vietnam, boomer meme etc. and it was one of his favorite places to eat and i don’t eat there often at all but i can definitely understand why
