I'm moving to Seattle for work in the next couple of months. Are there any cheap grocery stores in the area or are they all expensive?

Yea this. The produce is usually about to be too old or already is too old.

Winco is also great but is pretty far if you live near downtown. Costco if you have a family

They're all expensive and force you to walk through a Starbucks just to get to the liquor section. It's also a state law that they have to throw your fish at you from across the counter.

Kek. I went to undergrad in PDX and grad school in NYC. I also spent a couple years in France because my life is cool and I do cool shit, and one time a lady I was renting a bike from insisted on speaking English with me and said that I had the worst accent she'd ever heard.

Oh shut the fuck up, Ameriboo.

You wouldn't be here obsessing over Americans EVERY SINGLE DAY if you "hated" the U.S.. You, and the rest of you degenerate /ck/ Ameriboo's just need to come out of the closet already and admit you love us and want to be us. Raging? Not at all, it's simple supply and demand economics. The more money a population has, the higher the prices for goods and services become because the competition for those goods and services is increased.

They really should teach these things to you kids throughout junior high and high school.

That's actually more QFC, although we have both. All of them are Kroger sunsidiaries at least.

Nothing is actually cheap within 20 miles of the county line.

Grocery outlet and to a lesser extent safeway are your best options in the city. If you have a car, drive like 20 minutes go shoreline and go to their Winco. I live in Cap Hill and do this.

Safeway has good deli food if you're a lazy ass though . Their family sized meals for $10 is pretty good and the food is tastey, especially their fried chicken.

>> No.11100300

As first post said, Grocery Outlet is good for anything none produce. For produce, go to the big Vietnamese or Japanese super markets ln the international district. Alternatively, don't be poor.

>> No.11100732

Protip, don't.
Just don't come to Seattle. If you absolutely have to, move to North Bend or some other sleepy town 45 minutes away and commute.

It's literally worse than San Francisco in every interpretation.
