Mountain Dew is more like orange juice than lemonade. Also it doesn't taste very much like 7-up, and even if it did taste like 7-Up it would still be the better choice because 7-Up doesn't even have caffeine while Mountain Dew has more caffeine than even the normal sodas like Coke / Pepsi.

mid thirties programmer and diet soda addict reporting in. when you switch to diet soda you go through the process of finding some that don't taste like total shit. diet dew and diet cherry dp are the only ones that are tolerable. I drink about 3-4 20 oz bottles a day. I don't like coffee and want something with caffeine. when I was in my 20's i could drink sugary drinks and not gain weight but when I hit 30 i noticed a gut forming so i cut out sugar drinks and started hitting the gym to remove the gut. enjoy your metabolism while your young and drink all those nice fluids. getting old blows.
