Just went to the Viet Cajun place that opened up in my home town. It's fucking great. I've seen the light and I can never eat a crab and shrimp differently again. Medium garlic butter sauce and my lips are still tingling. Once a week place for sure.

Fuck dude it smelled so good while I was waiting for my food. The smell of garlicky butter sauce and spicy Cajun seasoning was like an aroma avalanche

It's like two kids had the same French daddy but lived in swamps on the opposite side of the world found each other and had the tastiest family reunion.

Each embraces the other, covered in filth and babbling their unintelligible gibberish-languages. The small, poorly maintained mustache they share is a reminder of family.

Dude I actually live in the Sacramento California valley so idk how this ended up here but I'm so thankful. His menu said seasonal crawdads and they're about ready to harvest rice so you know what that means...

This stuff is so good. I got to a place in Houston that does this. The potatoes are unbelievable when they get soaked in that butter garlic spice

I only lived there for six months a year or two back, but I found a place that made a decent banh mi and the best fucking general tso. It was a few blocks north of Loyola

>banh mi
I live a few blocks south of Loyola and I've been to the vietnamese place you're probably talking about (because i've been to all of them). I'm talking about wishing that cajun viet were up here. It's definitely not.

It was just over $50 for two. But I cook all the other nights so I could swing this more often and they sell by weight here so I could been full for less if I ordered a different mix
