Why are so many people allergic to peanus?

They have a nice salty taste, are filling and satisfy your craving for nut and it's a shame that more people can't take them.

Does anyone know the science behind this allergy?

I don't understand it. Apparently it is a nut allergy. The funny thing is peanuts are not nuts. They are legumes and related to the pea and bean family.

I don't know, but I agree with you OP. Peanuts a tasty.

It's not any more or less common than any other food allergy, it's just a bitch to avoid. Proteins are usually the trigger in a food allergy, thus protein rich foods are the most common food allergens. Glad I'm not allergic, I eat an entire pound of them every week.

I believe you get nut allergies from eating them as a newborn or from never having them before a certain age.

So like most weakness, it's caused by not breastfeeding or being to protective.

I don't know the science behind nut allergies, or peanut allergies, but I want to take this opportunity to share my favorite trivia fact: the Brazil nut is the only allergen that can be transmitted sexually.

In my country we call the Brazil Nut a “nigger toe.”

Do peas have a nice carrot taste if you mix them with carrots? No. The peas still taste like peas and it's the carrots that taste like carrots. It's the salt that has a nice salty taste when you eat salted peanuts.
