The article is mostly about the effect on kids anyway. The recommended limit of caffeine for kids is 100mg while a can of monster has 160mg. Caffeine in smaller amounts is fine, it's been shown in study after study to have cognitive benefits, but taking too much just means you feel exhausted when you miss a dose, start getting headaches, etc.
