Hi! /ck/
I need your help.
Family reunion next week and I want to make the best mac and cheese I can. Any suggestions on recipes?

Do a Jerusalmi Kugel instead. Same concept, yet with a twist.

Why would you need a recipe for mac and cheese?

>make some bechamel
>melt in whatever cheeses you want
>probably add some kind of chili powder if you are not a faggot
>cook some maceroni
>mix with cheese sauce
>top with buttery breadcrumbs and possibly more grated cheese
>put in oven

You'll lose a day of your life with every bite, but it looks hella good.

Just make a bachamel sauce using evaporated milk. Don't make too much. Add cheese, salt, pepper and a few drops tobasco. Toss into a baking dish with some slightly undercooked macaroni and mix. Get panko breadcrumbs and mix with melted butter. Top pasta and cheese sauce with buttered breadcrumbs and then are grated parmesan. Bake in oven until golden brown on top.

You need to specify: baked or not? Very different dishes.

Everyone here gave good advice, just make a basic baked mac and cheese. The most important part is to use the sharpest cheddar you can find, otherwise it'll just taste saucy instead of cheesy. Try a 2-3 year old extra sharp cheddar. I typically follow Homeroom's classic mac n cheese recipe. Google it.

Doesn't sound creamy at all. Baked macaroni and cheese and hard macaroni and cheese is garbage and we all know it.

>> No.11041898

when you bake it be really careful you dont overcook the noodles! really easy to do.. and you'll wind up with mush
