natty daddy, much like most 8% massmarket lager, is foul and nasty

that said, Natty Ice is one of my favorite cheapass-beers. To me it seems pretty low on flavor and inoffensive. Crisp, refreshing, when cold, drank more for texture than flavor. And 5.9% is plenty enough abv for a beer if you're trying to get drunk at a reasonable pace.

King Cobra I think has none of the off-flavors that are common in malt liquor, and I think of it as a fine enough drink for the all-malt-no-hops flavor-seeker.

lol LC? Is that low country South Carolina? My boomer parents live there too. of course, in boomer fashion my dad read about this beer in some sort of boomer news source and sent me this email about it (I work in the industry so I have been drinking them before all of the hype) So I went down to visit them and I he drank most of them too. Now he thinks hes into craft beer and is always asking me if the shit he buys is any good. I loved it when he sent me a pic of Dale's Pale Ale and was like "Hey! My friends tell me this is a great brew! Any good?"
I respond, "No. It's swill. Have mom cook with it or just throw it out." Man, boomers really can't into beer.
