They have posted a picture of what is known as a 'pizza crunch', i.e. a pizza coated in batter and deep fried.

Traditional deep fried pizzas do not have a batter coating this is a recent, and quite likely millennial, addition to an ancient Scottish recipe.

Glasgow is also home to a burger place that doesn't sell chips/fries and a Buddhist ran 'Chinese' restaurant where every single dish on the menu is vegan.

Your best bet is to use a frozen pizza with a reasonably thick crust, but not one of those 'pie' style American pizzas.

At about 170C it should take maybe 5 - 6 minutes to cook through.
