I remember when I used to brew coffee. Didnt know people still did that. Now I just eat the beans whole. Get a fuller flavor profile of the bean and the roast that way. Sometimes I cheek them for a bit and it softens them up a little, but a lot of times I just chew them up. Dont want my coffee becoming impure by adding water.

Me myself personally, I prefer to move water thru the beans j b order to d extract the flavor. Then I just drink the extract. The trick is to not fuck it up, try to do it perfectly.

I have a cheap espresso machine and I like it. I only really drink espresso-based things anyways, so no biggie for me. I can see how it's be a problem if you just want some drip coffee, but you could always dilute it.

I don't know about the best method, but french press and pour over are both cheap and easy, produce good coffee and you can get them pretty much anywhere. But getting a good grinder and freshly roasted beans is just as important as brewing method if you want a nice cup of coffee.

Drip coffee isn't all bad, but if you just go to the store and buy a cheap coffee maker like most people, you're most likely going to get one that doesn't get the water hot enough and most people leave it on the hot plate to be ruined. There really is a reason for drip coffee not having a good reputation.
