Do you own a pair of oven mitts?

I just use tea towels

>> No.10991152 [DELETED]

No. I only need to hold the oven tray for fewer than five seconds before there's a surface to put it down on. Wetting my hands in advance buys an extra three seconds, and I can endure the pain for more than two seconds.

I bet you've never even made a tea towel chicken

That sounds like a lifehack, but the image isn't real chicken.
Still, there are possibilities here. Food to protect your hand from burning that cooks while you're using it. My mind is titillated.

I live in brown recluse and black widow lands so i can't trust oven mitts. I just use dish rags.

I use large slices of balonie. I feed them to my grandparents after I use them so it doesn’t go to waste.

Nice. 50% devilish.
