>Trans fats are a fake substance invented by snack and fast food conglomerates around 2003 simply so they could claim there is no trans fats in their product, which is, of course, true, since it is a nonexistent invention. They came up with this idea right around the health food craze back then. Anyone who doesn't remember this is simply a young fellow who probably thinks sudokus were "always" in the paper next to the crossword.

>Smart phones are a fake technology invented by technology and electronic conglomerates around 2009 simply so they could claim that their competitor's phones are dumb, which is, of course, true, since it's a non-existant invention.

>a fake substance
A trans fat is a hydrogenated oil. They hydrogenate oils to make them solid at room temperature and to keep them from going rancid. It changes the chemical composition of the oil. It's certainly a synthesized substance and was certainly created by snack/fast food companies.

As early as 1956 there were suggestions in the scientific literature that trans fats could be a cause of the large increase in coronary artery disease"
