Cany anyone redpill me on La Croix?

Tried it out and it tastes pretty gud, and seems like a good soda replacement, which ive been phasing out completely.

Thoughts? Am I being memed?

>> No.10957440

my only issue with it is its price, more expensive than soda for less product. Tastes good though

Passionfruit tastes the best and is almost like soda, the rest are just metallic fizzy water.

Just buy the store brand or generic brand, just like most other products they're completely interchangeable, The only people who care about having the actual name brand are Instagram thots. Also, the generic brand still has a 12 pack unlike the LaCroix jew who nowadays typically only has 8. Seltzer has been around for about 250 years or so, don't pay the hipster tax

Kroger store brand is the fizziest and best tasting seltzer water. At least in can form, their 2L bottles lose the fizz almost instantly.

Kroger seltzer water is best value and stays carbonated longer. La Croix does taste better though.

To the guy says that it weakens your enamel, the damage is miniscule when compared to sugary soft drinks and can be totally negated with simply rinsing your mouth well with regular water, unlike soda which requires a full on brush with toothpaste.

LaCroix websites state "We do not add any artificial sweeteners, sugars or sodium to our waters.", but they ARE sweet. They also said "The flavors are derived from the natural essence oils extracted from the named fruit used in each of our LaCroix flavors. There are no sugars or artificial ingredients contained in, nor added to, these extracted flavors."

But the fact of the matter is that LaCroix IS sweet. Flavor "essence" will give it a taste, but it will not make a drink sweet.
So I got to thinking, is there word choice "no sugars or artificial ingredients added" purposely phrased that way?
Forget artificial, do you have to disclose whether or not "natural sweetners" are present?

What I'm getting at is LaCroix using a natural sweetner but not disclosing it? If so, what would it be? Stevia?
I got really curious about this because the LaCroix website is purposely vague and ambiguous about their recipe, if you look at their website or interviews, they're always vague about this shit.

I'm a water connoisseur, having tasted and rated probably close to a 100 different waters. It's cheap and some of the flavors are horrendous. Pampelmousse and Passionfruit are the best of the lot.

That said, it's not very good sparkling water. I tend to drink Perrier these days, it's got plenty of effervescence unlike San Pellegrino, it's decently priced unlike some other brands (i.e Voss) and it's available nearly everwhere.

You can buy it with lemon flavor, but it tastes a bit artificial, much better to slice a lemon and let it infuse for a minute.

Best commonly available is Acqua Panna. Runner up would be Voss (which is municipal water technically but amazing, and it is sourced from an artesian well)

Best I've tried is Svalbardi, which is glaciel water. Runner up would be Icelandic (also glacier) and Andes Mountain water.

Though taste is a personal choice, mostpeople enjoy medium-high TDS, semi-hard water which is common in Germany, France, and to a lesser extent Italy.

While Asians tend to prefer very low TDS, soft water like Fiji, which is great for making tea.

I like la croix but really, making pitchers of iced tea every day is what keeps me off of pop. I'll still buy a 2 liter every few weeks but I'd rather use my carbs for alcohol.
