I imagine a tandoori chicken and rice sandwich would be messy, but certainly tasty!

The plan is either tandoori chicken with rice or just a tandoori chicken sandwich without rice.

Make thick rice buns and make a 'oori sandwich.

Tandoori chicken with some vegetable on top and a thick vinaigrette to hold on to the rice on top between some kind of thick roll or bun.

Rice bun

Yeah, that would be a solid choice. I was thinking kaiser roll initially, but the rice bun would be more appropriate.

There's a food truck I like that makes a butter chicken sandwich.

It's absolutely amazing on a sandwich. Just don't add rice.

Yes, but you have to make the rice bun out of cooked rice. Like rice hockey pucks or flat rice balls.

>> No.10957373

I have not made rice balls so that is beyond my scope.

wet your hands, form cooked rice into ball, then flatten to appropriate bun size. Repeat. Heat little oil in pan, lightly brown both sides of each bun. Assemble burger. Eat.

Tandoori chicken in a sandwich with mango chutney is fantastic.
