I really, really want to like McDonalds since it's so easy to get through Uber Eats now and open 24 hours, but the couple times I've tried everything from there tasted like death.
I don't get it, I used to love McDonalds when I was a kid. I think maybe because I hadn't eaten there in a long time my acquired tolerance for them went away, like how you need to take another tetanus shot every ten years or your immunity to that will stop working.

No, I think the quality of many chains has gotten worse. A big mac or big crunch used to actually be big. They change things gradually over years, so most people don't notice. Just working their margins I guess.

I used to go to McDonalds, then one day a weird looking old woman came in while I was waiting for my order. This is normal where I live in the US, so I didn't pay attention. Then she went to the bathroom, and a few minutes after she had left, it became apparent that she had smeared shit everywhere, and an employee had to go in to clean it up. I have no reason to think the employee cleaned it up in an unsanitary manner. But the fact that homeless people are smearing shit all over the bathroom that close to where my food is being prepared, made me realize it's not the place for me.

I still go to McDonalds outside the US.
