How do I stop getting a soggy sub? I use these jarred peppers in the sandwich but I think the brine leaks in too. Should I just toast the sandwich or what to remove the liquid?

Peppers, paper towel, sub.

Do you really need to create a thread about "How do I make a less-soggy sandwich?" Toast your bread, dry off your ingredients, don't put sauce or oil or vinegar or liquid on the bread. End of fucking story, who the fuck needs to crowdsource ideas on not fucking up a sandwich?

I notice it gets really soggy if you wrap it up for lunch and eat it a few hours later.

Also is it just me or is the catalog down?

Spread some Mayo or other fat on the bread. It'll help prevent water from soaking in.

Keep the toppins separate. Take a bit of the sub then a fork full of the topping right after that. Keep repeating until finished. No soggy sub.

You're welcome.

I often take ordered meals back home to finish them in the oven. Restaurants seem to be more focused on serving orders more quickly.

You dare defy the Sogwich?

I agree that’s annoying. I don’t enjoy vinegar brines, I’ll take the spaghetti strainer and rinse those peppers, lay out paper towels press out the juice even tomatos.
