Egg yolks are supposed to be that dark reddish orange color. It means the chicken was allowed to eat a healthy diet of grass and bugs.

OP here, just had scrambled eggs with them. When cooked they were still very orange, and were very "eggy" or robust, not sure what to call it. Either way it was really good. A tastelet like me could tell the difference.

You are completely wrong. The more yellow and "fluorescent" the yolk looks, the more likely it is that it's homegrown. Industrially produced ones are the ones who have orange yolks. OP probably just bought some eggs that the guy had previously gotten at the supermarket.
