Beef stew with fresh biscuits. I generally don't pick favorites and rotate a lot of dishes in and out of my line up. But there's something about beef stew on a fall or winter day that takes me back to feeling safe and completely content as a kid.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, I love it to death. But for a while now, I've been reacting to it badly. I started consistently having to take a big shit like 12 hours after eating it, and within the past year, it's been diarrhea to the point I'm up 5 times a night and can only make mac and cheese when I don't work the next day. I'm in my mid 20s, and I've been wondering if I've developed a lactose intolerance. I don't have trouble with any other forms of lactose, at least nothing noticeable to me, but this is really bugging me since it's my comfort food. Hell, I'm on the can right now for the fifth time as I'm typing this because I ate it for lunch yesterday. No other macaroni and cheese seems to do this to me either.
