I eat a lot of mayo salads. I mainly eat potato salad, it's my staple food and I always keep a few tubs around. But I also like a nice tuna salad sandwich, chicken salad, egg salad, macaroni salad, etc etc. Watcha think?

you probably just like mayo

I'm with you. People who dislike mayonnaise are really missing out. It's not even unhealthy compared to any other dressing. If you make it yourself you only need oil, an acid, and eggs. Nothing wrong with it at all.

You should do some coleslaw too.

I like these sorts of salads, too. But potato salad is worse than eating a pile of dog shit. Lose the taters, sub some chicken or mini-shrimp, and add a pile of celery and peas.

I don't like mayonnaise

Just had shrimp salad the other day, very based. Baby shrimps, little mayo, lemon juice, salt, pepper and old bay.

It's originally German.

I used to enjoy these kind of salads made with mayo. Then I kind of just burned out on mayo. Now I make the same salads but with oil and vinegar (and sometimes a little mustard), often adding fresh herbs (parsley, dill). I've come to much prefer salads done that way. While I still like home made mayo I no longer like the stuff that is sold premade in jars. It just makes everything taste bland and heavy.

I disagree, potato salad can be both very good or very bad depending upon how much effort you put into it. Judging by your post, I don’t think you put much effort into anything at all.

Common misconception.
It was invented by an English admiral stationed off the coast of Port Mahon during the peninsular wars.

I love mayo but struggle to find any brands that still make it properly. Most of it is filled with cancer-tier vegetable oils, trans fats, palm oil, and other highly processed crap. Half of the stuff at the supermarket is the abominable 'low fat' garbage too.

So what are some good mayo brands? Im thinking i might just start making it myself

>So what are some good mayo brands?
There are none. The premade stuff in jars isn't a good product. Like many mass produced convenience products the economics of producing and marketing it pretty much dictate that the quality has to be shit.
>Im thinking i might just start making it myself
Really the only way to go if you're going to bother with mayo.
