Homebrewed? I make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that, while kind of quotidian, are fucking delicious. Start with Toll House recipe, reduce the flour by a cup, sub a cup of ground oats, double the vanilla, halve the chips.

Brand name cookies were very rare for me growing up because my mother baked cookies from scratch any time there was an event that could conceivably involve cookies.
