It seems fairly clear that the author's intent was to represent the "problem" (for lack of a better word) in the conversation as being the white guy's "raisin privileged" as opposed to the brown girl's unusual culinary gaps.

The "joke" at the end was that the white guy accepted that everything he says in the comic is a function of his privileged and makes a snarky comment about his unhappiness with having done that.

Flaws in the execution of the joke creates ambiguity about whether the white guy is unhappy with himself of with the social environment that makes him "in the wrong", but other elements of the comic give away the artist's political leanings.
