I concor. However, you are making the assumption that the ratios are the same or that the do not matter.
A scoop of chocolate and strawberry in a 3:1 ratio (respectively) has a much different flavor than a 1:3 ratio.

One my reason being ice cream used to be sold by the scoop, nepolian is a combo scoop but individually you could get each flavor or nepolian so it's clearly it's own flavor in the same way Rocky road, moose tracks or a swirl is. One flavor compromised of a few flavors
