One of the greatest, yet criminally underrated chain restaurants in existence.

While quality isn't what it was in the 90s, it's still head and shoulders above outfits like Papa Johns, Dominos, and Monicals. Not only in quality, but in value -- and lets face it, the $5 Hot and Ready is a value.

Lets review:

- Detroit Style deepdish is excellent
- Little Caesar's crazy bread is, bar none, the best bread side offered by any chain pizza operation and pairs lovely with their cheddar jalapeno dipping sauce.
- "Extramostbestest" style stuffed crust is superior to whatever shite pizza hut tried to pass off as stuffed crust.
- Ingredient quality is quite fresh.
- Other sides, including their cinnamon crazy bites, italian cheese bread, and Caesar wings (available in Oven Roasted, BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, and Buffalo), are top notice -- QUALITY! QUALITY!

Their crazy bread is way too goddamned salty. The Subway people could have definitely learned a lesson from Little Caesars about the $5 deal though. Subway got you to associate their brand with the $5 footlong, but had nothing else to up the up the bill, other than chips and a drink for $2 or whatever. Little Sleazers gets you in the door with the $5 hot n ready, but they also have 2 liters, crazy bread, desserts, wings, and whatever else to fatten up their profit margins.

Good when fresh, but whether you get a fresh one or not is luck of the draw, even if you call and order ahead of time. Also crazy bread is no where near as good as Domino's cheesy bread.

I used to work there in my teens. Quite often we would bring in slingshots and have a food fight with the sausage and ham chunks. Then we'd sweep it up and dump it back into appropriate bin...

I've never done anything else, because there are so many great local pizza places near me, but I'll stop and pick up a hot-n-ready every once in a while when I'm driving by, hungry, and exhausted. They've always been pretty decent quality, and never seem to be old or gross. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I'm surprised to just walk out with a pretty fresh pepperoni pizza every time.

corn meal on a crust is a great texture.
also if you learn to reheat a piece of pizza right, they taste just like new. make one piece two pieces by cutting it in half. put in microwave for 15 maybe 20 seconds on defrost. then cook it in a hot oven for 5-7 minutes. 425 degrees
I've had LC pizza 5 days in the fridge and it was excellent just like most LC Pizzas I've had

I eat at least one LC's H&R every week. I have yet to find a fast food place that gives you as many calories per $, at a reasonable level of taste considering. I actually haven't bought 'za from anywhere but LC's in at least a year.

The LC's nearest me actually makes good 'za. The store looks like a shithole and most of the people who work there are the dregs of society, but they make the best H&Rs I've ever had.

Pizza Hut just charges you more and more money, they "create" new pizzas for absurd costs that offer no inventive method of consuming or flavor.
I had always thought they monopolized the market on stuffed crust. Then I recently discovered Little Caesar's has fucking stuffed crust. It tastes better, it's cheaper, the dough isn't fucked up by some lazy motherfucker (it looks like it's machine-made, which means the crust will always be the appropriate ratio to toppings), and the crust is crispy like their DEEP! DEEP! Dish.
Literally no reason to go back to Pizza Hut, I just walk two miles to pick up and come home for ten bucks. Next time I go, though, I'm gonna pick up that three-dollar spice.
