What is your favorite pizza chain and why? For me, it is Jet's. It's the only chain place I've tried that actually has a flavorful sauce, I can't stand the somehow bland yet overly sweet ketchup tasting sauce most run of the mill pizza places have.

I worked at both Hungry Howies and Buddys back in the day. And have eaten Jets a million times.

I always felt like Buddy's was a step above the rest, in terms of both price and quality.

Buddys > Jets > Hungry Howies

Hungry Howies is near little caesars tier. Flavored crusts ain't too bad. But it's cheap and easy pizza. Their subs were pretty damn good. Used to customize them and eat one each shift.

Jets is fucking great. And yes, their ranch is amazing. I don't eat their pizza without it. It's that perfect "restaurant ranch" that is entirely different from bottled, and more similar to if you make it at home. Surprisingly runny, but very zesty.

Buddy's has great pizza, along with amazing vinaigrette for their dressing. The vinaigrette is made in house (really just by combining oil and a vinegar/herb mix) and it's perfection.

They also cook their pizza in legit cast iron (?) pizza pans. They never get washed. Once a pizza is made, it gets lightly re-oiled and put back in the pile.

i've seen it in pontiac, waterford, lake orion, white lake, south lyon, and a few other areas. a single store in livonia carries it (used to be a dolly's, now a one off store) but it's largely unavailable closer to detroit. it seems to be mostly concentrated in the highly white areas, but the lower class ones. like you'd get a side order of meth lower class.

I don't eat pizza from chains because they put tomato sauce. INGLEHOFFER is better as a base on such pies.

I make my own and substitute the traditional cucked tomato sauce for Inglehoffer Brand German Style Mustard!!! 10/10 would recommend
