I am a vegetarian, but not some psycho vegan who rubs it in.
I normally do pretty well with my mommy cooking a lot of veggies anyways and veggie burgers and nuggets and stuff.
Anyways going on trips is always a pain. But I normalt can find a Culvers or subway to eat at.
I’m having a road trip to Texas for the ELCA Youth gathering and from being from Minnesota the culture is different and I don’t know what kinda food they have.
I stoped in Missouri for lunch and went to mc Donald’s waited a fucking 30 mins in line and turns out a few years ago the stop selling veggies burgers and sell meat only products.
I’m tired of vegetarian options as just a frikn salad.
Anyone been or from the Texas area and know any places with real vegetarian options?

You really don't have to justify what you do or do not eat.

This question is weird. Texas is the second largest state, how is anyone going to know which cities you're visiting unless you say so?

If your question is how to be a vegetarian on a road trip, it's really not that hard in 2018. Stop at anything that isn't fast food, why wouldn't they have at least one vegetarian option?

lasagna, or pasta primavera, or veggie pizza.

waffles, pancakes, whatever style eggs you like

Pretty much the only place you can't go is fast food. Even then, outside of McDonalds and Burger King, the fries and onion rings aren't cooked in animal fat.
If you were vegan you might have a legitimate point that would warrant packing food from home. Vegetarian is easy unless you're living with Inuits.

Taco Bell is also a great one. Anything can be made veggie if you just tell them to sub black beans for meat.

This is initially why I went vegetarian, I couldn't stand the hypocrisy of caring about dogs being killed (they are pests) while being okay with other farm animals being killed in much worse conditions.

Buddhists can and do eat meat. The religious prohibition only states the Buddhists cannot kill an animal themselves, or eat meat that was specifically slaughtered for them. However, they can eat fish and fowl (those are not considered "meat" in Buddhism), and they can eat meat of a land animal if that animal was slaughtered for someone other than them.
