Aldi is not equivalent to a full service grocery store. It's a discount market, and they do a good job given that label. You don't go to aldi for exotic/uncommon stuff or one stop shopping, you go there for staple foods, and you also go with the knowledge that it's a gamble if they will have what you are looking for (my aldi is always sold out of flour/milk for instance).
