Hey /ck/, I'm about to go to McDonalds for the first time in my life. Would it be a good idea to ask the chef to cook my quarter pounder rare? Or should I play it safe with medium/medium rare?

Whenever I go into my local McDonalds restaurant, I like to call ahead of time and ask that they begin to prepare my medium rare burger in advance. I live 30 seconds walking distance from my local McDonalds restaurant, and this particular McDonalds restaurants location played a crucial part in deciding which house to buy. When I arrive, I'm greeted with a warm, friendly 'hello, anon!', and my local McDonalds restaurants bright, pleasant and polite staff all wave and smile at me. I'm handed my tray with my Medium rare Double Quarter Pounder sandwich, a side of Mac Sauce, my large fry, my large soda cup, and M&M's McFlurry, And I slide the cashier a fresh, crisp, $20 bill. 'Keep the change', I add. Then I proceed to eat my delicious meal in the kids play area, where I converse with my neighbors and friends as the children frolic. It may seem like a lot, but this is just another typical day in the neighborhood at my local McDonalds restaurant.

They have a secret menu there. You can order friend with the special sauce or your hamburger buns grilled with mustard . It might take some prying but the cashier's will know what you're talking about. Order your shit animal style it's the best.

Did. Tastes about the same. If theres a difference its barely noticeable. Maybe its cause they were already grilling them. That was a pretty big change in taste so now this doesn't seem as good
