What's some really good calorie-rich food that could help me gain weight pretty quick? I know pasta's great for packing in calories, and a friend of mine told me to eat a metric fuckton of oatmeal, but are there any good smoothie recipies or really easy to eat foods out there that can help me pack on pounds?

Wild Rice Risotto is my standard issue calorie-filler bulking food.
Tuna-patties optionally made with oat-flour binding (my preference) are good too, depending on how much oil you like.
If you have trouble eating enough solid food, high-calorie soupy meals like box-gumbo are easy enough to shove down, you'll just get more sodium than you could possibly enjoy.

Honestly, I never had any truck with smoothies and shit (specifically for the purpose of getting calories). It's harder to shove down a blender full of sludge than to just eat some food IMO.
I guess you could use an entire pint of ice cream to make a milkshake for an easy 1200 calories (and also give yourself diabetes)

Those tuna patties sound delicious. I'll give them a try some time. Do you have any gumbo recipies? I fucking love gumbo.

I mean, all the difference is is whether you eat 1400 calories worth of it or if you eat 3100 calories worth of it.

Oatmeal is a caloric waste.

Rice (white specifically) and potato are the carbs of choice. Combined with some fibrous greens and meats at a 500-1000 calorie surplus (depending on your daily routines) you should be on your way.

I appreciate the tip, man. Any ideas on proteins with more calories than others? I'd assume fattier cuts of steak would be better for me to eat than leaner.

Not him, but it doesn't matter much as long as you're not eating exclusively lean meat like trimmed pork loin or boneless skinless breasts.
