It's probably fine. Stews stay hot for a long time so it probably wasn't out of the "danger zone" of temperature for too long.

Just FYI though, if food is spoiled, cooking won't make it safe. It destroys bacteria in the food but does nothing to the waste product they leave behind.

When tasting it taste just a bit let it sit in your mouth and really taste the thing!

P.S. You must actually have a good tasting buds for this to work and not jacked it up with ton of spice killing the natural taste of the indigence.

If you poor and cant afford to trow it away... MAKE THAT SHIT AS SPICY AS YOU CAN trow in ton of garlic After boiling it!

By fda guidelines, yes.
However, they also say you shouldn't leave pizza out for more than 4 hours. I've left it out for over 24 hours on more than one occasion and it hasn't made me sick, so live your own life.

This, altough HACCP guidelines say that I shouldnt eat a product that have rested in a 15-30 C zone for 2 hours I've eaten a stew of potatoes and meat and I didn't feel bad afterwards

If it hasn’t been “inoculated”, in other words if you had it up to temp and just let it cool without serving or disturbing it, it should be fine.

7 hours is quite a long time, though. But it should be okay, since it’s stew.

Eat it and then smoke some cigarettes. The smoke will suffocate the bacteria in your stomach.

>shouldnt eat a product that have rested in a 15-30 C zone for 2 hours
That's mainly so people with compromised immune systems don't get sick, the average person is fine with food that's left out longer. But with soups and stews, since there's more liquid in them, it's that much easier for bacteria to grow. 7 hours still isn't that long like I said especially since stews stay hot. But a while back, an Anon posted saying he left his stock out to cool overnight and in the morning it was already sour.

>> No.10764357

>>10761557
No! Anything out for more than 4 hours, hot or cold, is a risk of contamination. If you eat it, there is a high risk of food poisoning. Temps between 40-140 is unsafe. Cold keep below 40, hot above 140

>> No.10764377

>>10764357
>If you eat it, there is a high risk of food poisoning
I wouldn't say it goes immediately from safe to high risk. Those guidelines are for people who have immune system problems to keep them from getting sick but the average person doesn't need to worry that much. Once you start getting into the 8-12 hour zone that's when I would be a little more worried.
