When I lived in Texas, we would shoot rattlesnakes with a .22 to the head and then barbecue them. The meat peels right off the bone if cooked right

You either cook it until it's soft enough to separate from the bone or you fry it until the bone gets crispy and edible. In ASEA countries, where milk consumption isn't really a thing, people usually do the latter because of the calcium content.

Go to Florida and catch some big anacondas or pythons. That's the only way you'll get lots of meat. Chop it into 6 inch long sections or when it hits the skillet it will slither out if the sections are longer. although, I don't recommend snake. It isn't very tasty. Neither are frogs or gator or turtle. Herps are just the poorest quality meat you can find.
