Not sure if you meant to respond to my post; I just posted a world class beer that's recently been introduced in can form, because beer in cans seems to trigger europeans (like screw tops on wine bottles), even though that's the direction all breweries are moving towards. To answer your question, though, expensive liquor not burning only really applies to vodka. Obviously really shitty liquor of any kind is going to be rough simply because of cheap distillation, but vodka is the only one that explicitly is meant to be as neutral as possible at high quality levels.
