Thoughts on Chic-Fil-A?

>> No.10739226

>>10739211

I'd honestly never heard of them before they were in the news for being a right wing religious cult. Then I tried it out of curiosity and it turns out it sucks, just like pretty much every other fast food.

Gee, I'm sure this thread will be about food and totally won't be a /pol/ tier thread about fags and black people.

It's good. The fact that every time I eat Chik-fil-a it's a blow against fags and black people is just icing on the cake.

Who cares about a restaurants political opinions, if there was a Nazi restaurant that happened to serve good it wouldn't matter to me. I don't care conservative, liberal, libertarian, whatever. Back to your question, yes Chick-fil-A is pretty good when compared to most mega chicken fast food places.

>> No.10739276

It's all right. Better than KFC, Church's and Popeye's. Can't eat there very often, though. Once a week, I'd say. As you eat there more frequently, the chicken starts to lose flavor exponentially. It's weird.
Great lemonade, too.

>who cares about a restuarant political opinions
No one should but unfortunately you are on 4chan, and as I'm sure you've realized every board on here is a different flavor of /pol/. Which means politics have to be injected into literally everything.

How is this political? It's an innocent question. The burden of proof is on you.

/pol/ is just the right-wing version of librul outrage culture. Everything must be politicized and anything less than toeing the line must be screeched about.

Because the post I responded to explicitly asked about politics. And also because every chick-fil-a thread is just a thinly veiled politics thread that our shit mods won't delete. Just look at >>10722534

I really really really like their spicy chicken sandwiches but they make me sick in my stomach for some reason.

Spicy food makes a lot of people feel sick. Even if it's a mild spice like a fast food sandwich.

>> No.10739349

The spicy chicken is top notch. I was sad the day the removed spicy from the breakfast menu.

>> No.10739353

>>10739336
I don't think it's because it's spicy. I eat the shit out of spicy foods and don't feel that way. I think it's something they use that I don't agree with. I don't know what it is.

>> No.10739358

I went to chikfila once and the sandwich was a little bit dry. I dont care about the religious bullshit I would eat there again if it wasnt so far away.

Pretty lame, but chicken is pretty lame in general.

That's possible. I eat burgers somewhat often and I remember burger king always making me feel sick when I would eat there. So it's probably something specific to them.

>> No.10739367

Chicken itself is good. The breading is fucking shitty. Why not just grill the thing at that point?

Also, their stock sandwich is literally just pickles bread patty. What the fuck is that? Waffle fries are a good variant of French fries, though.

Maybe I'll go this weekend and get something else on the menu that isn't a spicy sandwich and see how that makes me feel. I'm curious now if it's their spicy chicken, or just that place.

I live in a place that doesnt have any within decent driving distance so I almost never have them, but when i visit family for the holidays I pig out at the fucking thing. I like their basic sandwiches quite a lot and think the breading is great.
That being said if I lived close by one im almost certain I would get sick of it quickly, and also feel like I would learn to hate it due to the no Sunday rule, which would probably always manage to fuck me over through some kind of cosmic fate.

Now that being said, and onto the purpose of this bait thread, the restaurant is the reason I stopped considering myself a member of the lgbt. Having had plenty of partners of varying variety I have no problem with what other people do with their lives, this seems straight forward. The fact anyone thinks the right thing to do in a situation where they dont like what someone is doing with their own money is boycott a company that has next to nothing to do with it is insanity.
And yes, next to nothing is right on the money. Pun intended, if this man wanted to give money to propaganda groups he could do it with or without the chicken sandwiches. So going to these stores and harassing people who are trying to make money with shit they more then likely know nothing about, and probably dont care about is lunacy.
If these people really have a problem with another mans legal rights then they should be talking to their legal representatives, not discussing the ethicacy of eating a chicken sandwich.

Of course its not like it matters anyway, I wouldnt doubt it was a double teamed marketing strategy from the start. Its not like the mans sect of Christianity would even be relevant if sin didnt exist so both sides have some odd methods to go about rather simple goals.
Chicken sandwiches.

We already have legal gay marriage so I eat there often. I hope they spend my money persecuting gays. We are unlikely to get actual equal rights (federal protected class membership) unless it becomes really clear to most people that Christians are persecuting us on a logically fallacious basis to reinforce their own power at our expense. If anything closeted gay men like Jack Dorsey SHOULD be spending all their money there in hopes that he will make the owners rich enough to spend money targeting and persecuting gays in a visible way that the public can appreciate and notice that Christians are singling out gays for their hatred.

I hope they try taking away gay marriage. The riots that break out would be worth it. I say, bring it on.
