I have two racks to st louis style ribs. Should I cook them in the oven or on a grill?

Oven until they are almost done, then finish them on the grill. Or start on the grill and then bake them. Both work fine.

If you can't smoke them then put them in the oven.

I'll do a few minutes on each side to start on the grill and then move to the oven. That way you get that nice grill mark char and charcoal grill flavor.

My pleasure. Throw some woodchips onto your coals if you want some extra smokey flavors in them.

I bought some calamari from kroger the other week, and it's sitting in the freezer. How do I go about cooking it ? I'm worried they're going to be too chewy or rubbery. I bought them with the fascination of having crispy calamari and I've got some ramen I wanna add them to. I'm a broke ass poorfag so I kinda have diddly squat in the kitchen except for my oil, sauce, and spice investments.

I would buy some cornstarch, eggs, and panko (if you want breading, could omit) and fry them in oil if that's what you want. Make sure the oil is hot so they cook fast. Defrost them in the fridge overnight first. If you want to add them to ramen I think they would be better broiled or grilled, but that's just me.

I was thinking of just pan frying them, and grilling would be a little too much effort for just one thing. I didn't think of broiling them. Thanks.
My main concern was whether or not I might burn them and ruin all flavor they have if I cook them to be crispy rather than just keeping them close to rubbery, but as you can tell, I have no idea what they're supposed to be like. I've only ever had squid sushi, and I don't really want the same thing again.
