Does anyone here order meat online?
I want to eat more grass fed meat and wild game and I cant really get that where i live. I was curious about /ck/s experience from shit like butcherbox.

>butcherbox
sounds like some kind of millennial shit for retards who are too socially awkward to tell the butcher what they want

For the most part those "box" things are a scam. But not every city has a butcher. I live in america. We dont have fresh quality meat available so im looking for online alternatives.

Isn't there like a CSA or something?

This.

Yes, I have ordered stuff online, but it's been fairly niche things that my butcher couln't get. XXL sausage casings from butcher-packer.com, pheasant from dartagnan. And I regularly buy bacon and country ham from Benton's. I'm not really sure what you want to know though--it's no different than mail ordering any other thing?

You must live in an atpical local shithole then. I've had good luck with even the butcher counter at supermarkets. Just ask for what you want. If they say they don't have it then ask if they can order it for you. Chances are they can unless it's something really specific or special.

its hard to find grass fed and finished meat pretty much anywhere.

What stores have these? Does Walmart?

>> No.10736777

I know the sites that do quarters, halves and whole cows are reliable for the most part (read the reviews) and cheaper than buying from the meme fucks copying Omaha Steaks which are a total rip. It will require you to get a freezer, but you can buy one new for under $200 at Sam's that can hold an entire cow. That's your best bet imho.

Wut, no. When you live in BFE it's an entirely different story. I called the only butcher in my nearest metropolitan city (650,000 pop.) and that fagfuck wouldn't even order me a whole pork belly. Sam's carries grass fed at a lot better prices than the only other place, Whole Foods.

most walmarts i have seen dont have one. Plenty of actual grocery stores do though.

>What stores have these?
I would expect one in any supermarket.

>Does Walmart?
I doubt it, but I don't know a whole lot about them. I try to avoid walmarts for food--they tend to sell cheap shit only and I tend to buy premium things.

The best part about BFE is HUNTING.
